Create your first campaign

Set up a giveaway from scratch in under five minutes. · 4 min read

Start it

Dashboard → New campaign. The builder is tabbed; you can move between tabs freely and save a draft at any point. Drafts don't count against your plan's campaign limit — only live campaigns do.

Give it a title and check the URL slug underneath. On a paid plan the slug is yours as typed; on the free plan a short random suffix is added so nobody can squat a name.

Describe the prize

Add at least one prize with a name and a winner count. The total across all prizes becomes the campaign's winner count, which is what the draw uses.

A cover image is optional but makes a large difference to how the page reads. It uploads as soon as you pick it — you'll see the preview swap from your local file to the hosted version.

Choose how people enter

The Actions tab has every entry method grouped by platform. Each one you add gets its own point value, an optional 'required' toggle, and whatever configuration that action needs — a handle, a URL, a server id.

Point values are what weight the draw. Someone with 10 tickets is ten times more likely to win than someone with 1. Keep the spread sane: if one action is worth 50 and the rest are worth 1, that action is effectively the whole campaign.

Marking an action 'required' means an entrant who skips it isn't eligible for the draw at all, no matter how many tickets they've collected elsewhere.

Set the window

Start and end dates are both enforced. Before the start date the entry page refuses entries; after the end date it closes, and the hourly cron flips the campaign to 'ended' and emails everyone who entered.

If you don't set an end date the campaign runs until you end it yourself.

Publish

Create campaign publishes it live. Save as draft keeps it private and takes you to the edit page.

Your public page is at /c/your-slug. Everything on it is editable afterwards — but note that changing entry actions on a running campaign doesn't take tickets away from people who already completed them.
