Is Sweepr free to use?
The picker tools and the wheel on the front page are free with no account at all. For giveaway campaigns, the free plan covers 1 live campaign, up to 200 entries, 1 winners and 3 entry actions. Drafts don't count against the limit — you're only capped on what's actually running.
Do you store anything if I just use the picker without signing up?
No. An anonymous draw writes nothing to our database — not the entrant pool, not the winners, not the URL you pasted. The settings you see after a refresh are held in your own browser and clearing them removes them. If you're signed in on a paid plan you get an explicit, off-by-default checkbox to save a draw to your history, and a button to delete all of it.
How does the draw work?
A random seed is generated and committed to the campaign row before any winner is picked. Every winner is then derived deterministically from HMAC(seed, index), weighted by each entrant's ticket count. Publish the seed and the entrant list and anyone can replay the draw and get the same winners — it's auditable, not a black box.
Can I pick the winners myself?
Yes. On Pro and above you can select specific winners from the entrant table, and any remaining slots are drawn at random from everyone else. Entrants who skipped a mandatory action aren't eligible either way.
What blockchains are supported?
Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Blast, Linea, Scroll, ApeChain, PulseChain, Robinhood Chain, and Solana.
Can I gate a campaign on NFT ownership?
Yes. Require entrants to hold any ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-20 or Solana SPL token. The balance is read on-chain and the entrant signs a message proving they control the wallet, so a balance can't be faked. You can gate the whole campaign or just one entry action.
How do social verifications work?
It depends on the platform and on how the site is configured. X, Discord, Telegram, Spotify, Reddit, Tumblr, Patreon, YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo, Product Hunt and Disqus can be verified through the platform's own API once the site owner has set up that app. Bluesky and Steam verify against public APIs from a handle. Twitch, Kick and Instagram actions that depend on a live event are confirmed by an inbound webhook, so they show as pending until the platform reports it. Anything else is click-through, and is recorded as unverified so the campaign owner can see the difference.
Can I embed the campaign on my website?
Yes. Every published campaign is embeddable, either as a script that auto-resizes or as a plain iframe. Copy the code from your campaign dashboard.
How do I collect shipping addresses?
Turn on 'Physical prize shipping' in the campaign's Settings tab. After the draw, winners get an address form on the campaign page and a link to it in their winner email. You fulfil from Dashboard → campaign → Shipping, where you can mark items sent and record tracking.
Can I use my own branding?
Custom colours and CSS are available from Hobby. Sweepr branding can be removed from Pro and above.
What payment methods do you accept?
PayPal and cryptocurrency (via NOWPayments). Card payments aren't set up yet.
